Algorithm can through the same parameters to estimate the code unit texture intensity and texture direction, thus reducing the additional computation quantity. Abstract

The video coding algorithm of HEVC is complex and hard to realization in VLSI. In order to reduce the coding algorithm complexity, we propose the intra-prediction algorithm based on the texture features and spatio-temporal correlation of PU. According to the PU feature which in the same position of previous frame, we can quickly decide the coding unit size, reduce the number of the corresponding texture prediction model, and speed up the process of intra-prediction. Algorithm can through the same parameters to estimate the code unit texture intensity and texture direction, thus reducing the additional computation quantity.
