Abstract

To facilitate the node-based meshless method on numerical modeling and simulation of open-domain structures and radiation problems, we introduce and present the perfectly matched layer (PML) absorbing boundary condition (ABC) to the radial point interpolation method (RPIM) in this work. A numerical experiment of point resource radiating in 2D free space is employed to analysis electromagnetic wave absorbing performance of the proposed PML ABC formulation.
