Abstract

This paper presents a wideband propagation model for the bit error rate evaluation of Future Public Land Mobile Telecommunication Systems with frequency hopping. This model is elaborated from digital signal processing (multirate theory) and a statistical analysis of measurements investigated at 2.2 GHz with a frequency bandwidth of 25 MHz. This model is intended to evaluate the performance of FPLMTS in small and micro cells.
