We have developed and put in our practice own interdisciplinary algorithm which allows us to diagnose and resolve somatic dysfunctions before dental treatment. The purpose of that is increasing of adaptive functions of the body to changes in the dental system during the treatment. At the same time, dental treatment has to be with osteopathic support which levels increased load on adaptation mechanism which changes during dental bite correction. Abstract

Described clinical case shows positive results of osteopathic correction in the complex treatment of syndrome of pain dysfunction of the temporomandibular joint (TMJ).
