This paper also makes a description of the features of digital control system’s functionalities. The analyzing process focuses on the test items that require maintenance workforce to force and simulate test conditions. Based on the features of the DCS with references to the periodic test events caused by human errors, the paper comes up with feasible methods to simplify the periodic test process and to minimize human intervention other than unavoidable manipulations during start-up and end-up. Abstract
