Here the iterative approaches for MIMO system are investigated for a turbo receiver with random interleaver and A Posteriori Probability (APP) decoders over two modulation techniques: a candidate technique for next generation wireless communication systems. Simulation results show that, in a 2x2 antenna configuration, turbo processing provides consistent improvement of the link performance. There is an improvement by 3.5 dB in the performance of turbo based MIMO using Quadrature Phase Shift Keying (QPSK) modulation.
