Abstract

The scientific Olympics are considered a great vehicle for scientific dissemination. With this purpose, the Brazilian Astronomy and Astronautics Olympics (OBA) was created in 1998 with the objective of developing the science and dissemination of Astronomy in Brazil through an educational event and national enrollment, to awaken the interest, both for students and teachers, to learn and teach Astronomy. This paper aims to analyze the OBA questions, presenting a characterization of the tests to assist teachers and students to know the profile of this evaluation and the most required contents. The results show an evolution in the profile of the tests, both structurally and in relation to their content, featuring more contextualized questions and more didactic approaches.
