Abstract

The prolificness of wifi based applications is the result of growing requirement of wireless signals. The use of channel state information is done for various applications. This paper forthputs the feasibility of wifi channel state information for suspicious object detection. The system can be used at public places such as stadiums, schools or museums. Various other methods for suspicious object detection (such as surveillance cameras, surveillance videos) are proposed earlier but these methods cannot identify the suspicious material inside the bags without violating people’s privacy. Our method proposes an algorithm to detect the suspicious objects in the baggage without invading privacy.
