This study concluded that the reduction of energy consumption share and enhancing the energy efficiency of industry sector and transportation, storage, post & telecommunication services sector is the core issue for the reduction of energy intensity in Inner Mongolia. Abstract
This article analyses the factors that cause a reduction of energy intensity in the industrial sectors of Inner Mongolia. By constructing a decomposition model, this study explores the contributions of energy conservation and industrial structure policies to energy consumption between 2005 and 2016.
