Abstract

Organizations are slow in utilising information technologies to manage employment screening. A framework is proposed to improve the effectiveness of IT in employment screening. The key elements to this framework include: a) the influence of internet job application tools on preemployment screening checks, b) the influence of web technology orders on online background screening checks, c) the influence of pre-employment screening tools on online background screening checks, d) the influence of online background screening tools on completed background screening reports, and on generating eOffers / job decline letters.
