Abstract

The reliability evaluation trend of the computer network and software has gained more interest due to various businesses depended more on digital technology. This paper evaluates the system reliability characteristics of IoT based communication architecture for a small and medium-sized farm. The main reliability parameters have been monitoring and evaluating based on the real experimental farming environment. Then, the overall system reliability for both experimental architectures is simulated and compared by using the well-known reliability block diagram. The simulation results exhibit unusual reliability characteristics for both IoT based architectures.
