Abstract

A DFT spread generalized multi-carrier (GMC) based frequency division multiple access (FDMA) scheme, i.e. DFT-S-GMC, is proposed for uplink transmission of wideband mobile communication systems. The scheme achieves spreading gains in the frequency-domain by discrete Fourier transform (DFT), and the frequency division multiplexing (FDM) and FDMA by inverse filter-bank transform (IFBT).
