Abstract

The article analyzes cyber threats for power line remote monitoring systems using UAVs. Possible attack vectors of cyber attacks on the UAV equipment used for power line monitoring are shown. An improved method for the evaluation of security threats and their associated risks is provided, which allows to estimate the robustness of the monitoring systems to cyber attacks. A set of measures is described, aimed at increasing the sustainability of the power line monitoring system to cyber attacks by increasing the resources necessary to carry out attacks, both in terms of energy and equipment required.
