Abstract

A new service discovery scheme using mobile agents for mobile ad hoc networks (MANETs) we have proposed are effective for dissemination and collection of service information because mobile agents can migrate among nodes in spite of topology change in MANETs. In the proposed scheme, mobile agents migrate to one of neighboring nodes in which the number of services collected in the predefined time (called service collection time) is the lowest.
