Abstract
Linear induction motors (LIM) are becoming more popular in the industry and require in-depth research of the control methods that can be applied to development systems that use these motors. This article shows improved frequency control methods with IR-compensation, s-compensation and a combined algorithm. The proposed approach is based on the T-shaped equivalent circuit and takes into account the end effects, the increase of the active resistance of the LIM's due to heating, the low rigidity of the natural characteristics of the motor due to decisive influence of the active resistance. The listed factors lead to the deterioration of the static and dynamic characteristics of the linear electric drive, which requires the development of measures to compensate for their influence.
