Abstract

The thermal aging of insulating fluids and papers in composition of paper-impregnated insulation was investigated. Electrical and optical characteristics of the mixture of petroleum oil and synthetic ester are studied. The mechanical and electrical properties of the paper before and after aging were measured. The sorption capacity of some types of cellulose paper was evaluated. The significant dependence of the type of cellulose paper on change of parameters of paper-impregnated insulation at aging was revealed.
