Abstract

An attitude control system is proposed for an assured crew re-entry vehicle, where the control law is based PID controller tuned using Simulated Annealing. The controller designed ensures robustness properties with respect to parametric uncertainties and environmental disturbances. The system state remains in the neighborhood of a reference attitude and the control signal is close to a well-defined equivalent control.
