Abstract

Transforming traditional education into a model according to the current needs for training of professional profiles, is a task that presents great challenges for all universities. It is not only required to provide technologies, but also necessary to enable other components to bring about a real change in the school environment. This pa- per presents the experience of how an institutional pilot project was managed, using electronic tablets in the UNAM baccalaureate and taking into consideration that the development of new skills in teachers is the main pillar that supports change, but that there are also other elements in the environment that must be visualized in an integral way, to achieve a true transformation in the classroom.
