Abstract

Overview and analysis of social enterprises in Slovakia on the basis of selected characteristics The article focuses on the analysis and overview of registered social enterprises as a new business entity in the social economy since 2018, in which the new Act No. 112/2018 on the social economy and social enterprises came into force. The article points out their scope in Slovakia in terms of selected characteristics, namely: territorial distribution by region, distribution in terms of choice of legal form, in terms of achieving a positive social impact and others.
