Abstract

The proliferation of the RFID technology greatly improves customer convenience in various applications including the smart tags. However the systems are developed with a passive RFID system which needs a standby source for its operation. This paper projects the design and development of an active RFID system. The developed system can be used for automatic control over a long distance. A test application of the active RFID system developed in a Automatic Control System Application is presented for performance validation.
