At the same time, the main goal of the information based educational environment should be to ensure the transition of education to a new level of quality, i.e., to a state corresponding to the development of the information society and the associated need of specialists of appropriate skill levels. Currently, there is an active search for new forms and methods of teaching, which makes it possible to talk about the transition of education from a directive model to an interactive, learner’s personality-oriented, more productive, one. The article deals with the possibility of using innovative teaching methods in preparing technical university students. Abstract

One of the key drivers that characterize both the processes of reorganization of the higher education model of education and the need for it is the process of globalization, affecting almost all aspects of modern life, and the informatization of the educational process associated with the rapid development of innovative computer technologies.
