Abstract

In this paper, a novel Left Handed (LH) material to implement Composite Right and Left Handed (CR/L-H) Transmission Line (TL) is proposed. The LH material is a combination of series Inter-digital Capacitor (IDC) and a shunt annular ring inductor. The CR/L-H TL unit cell is coupled to the 50Ω microstrip line via capacitive coupling to realize the Bandpass Filter (BPF).
