Experiences in the business process modelling at public organizations of La Pampa

Abstract

In this work, the experiences about the application of business process modelling at public organizations of La Pampa province (Argentina) are synthesized. The common strategy used in the process modelling for the public organizations is described. Follows, we summarize three application cases with different business domains: a) The Social Security Institute of La Pampa for the social security, b) The prosecutor's office of administrative investigations of La Pampa, and c) The Autarchic Institute of Housing of La Pampa oriented to the building of social housings. Neither of these organizations has had experience with business process modelling or measurement and evaluation frameworks before. A comparative analysis between the application cases is shown. Finally, the related works are synthesized and the future works are outlined.
