In the United States, France and China, the technology of preparation and burning of water-coal suspensions (WCS) for the utilization of fine-dispersed wastes of coal enrichment and coal slurries has been successfully used. A boiler with a thermal capacity of 0.63 MW with a vortex combustion system efficiently operating on fuel from coal waste was designed, manufactured and tested.
