Abstract

This paper presents a design and demonstration of a highly integrated and software-controlled RF Front-End for L- to Ka Band operations by using System in Package (SiP) technologies. Such technologies becoming important in terms of small weight and power (SwaP). In particular for space applications and smaller satellite missions, SwaP and the here presented and investigated SiP becomes of great interest and current SDR architectures in space systems can be significantly improved.
