Abstract

Simulations and Modeling allows for integrating disciplines to make key decisions involving trade-offs based on resilience, cost systems engineering, cost effectiveness analysis and affordability trade space throughout the system life cycle. The methodology of this paper is to focus on measuring the performance characteristics of Model-Based System Engineering (MBSE) techniques with Building Information Modeling (BIM) for the construction industry. The paper will showcase the types of 'education and training environment' required for using MBSE as a form of adaptive engineering.
