Abstract

This paper examines how an animated medical website can be used for learning. The website lists four categories: doctors, nurses, pharmacists and general medical staff. The animation is visually interesting and understandable for all levels of learner, including beginners. This paper subsequently studies participants' perspectives of the medical website regarding certain features such as on-screen explanations, the display of the animation and the design of the exercises. Based on learners' comments, examples of lesson plans, indicating how medical website-inspired instructions can help students, are discussed.
