Abstract

Greenhouse gas emission and growing demands are among the most significant challenges that societies are encountered in the 21th century. One powerful solution in response to the challenges is utilization of the Distributed Energy Resources (DERs) in electric distribution networks. However, the integration of DERs to the electric power grid causes some challenges for the power grids. The increase of loss and load factors are among the challenges. Therefore, in this paper, the effect of DERs on the electric distribution networks is taken into account.
