Communication channels in the social and humanitarian sphere, which are used to promote scientific results, as well as the possibility of replacing these channels, in condition when one of them is excluded. Special attention is paid to the quantitative and qualitative analysis of Russian journals in the core of the Russian Science Citation Index due to the fact that foreign journals specializing in social sciences and humanities may become inacceptable to most Russian scientists. The analysis was carried out for the period 2012–2020, in some cases data from 2021 were used for comparison. Abstract
