Abstract
A new pitch detection algorithm is presented. A new method is developed to lessen the influence of the cross-term on the performance of traditional time-frequency distribution. The relationship between the time-frequency and the traditional autocorrelation method is also discussed. Experimental results show that this new method can give satisfied estimation of pitch period.<>
