Abstract

Indonesia is the largest archipelago that consists of 17,508 islands and around 6,000 of which are inhabited. These islands are mountainous with dense rainforests. This geographical condition leads to the digital divide between urban areas with rural or remote areas. A government body provides internet access services for the frontier, outermost, and least developed regions to minimize the digital divide.
