Abstract

This study summarizes recent results of theoretical and experimental investigation of transverse pattern formation in a multi-longitudinal mode optical parametric oscillator (OPO) in a monolithic mini-cavity. In addition, the results of numerical study of the multiconical pattern based on numerical integration of OPO equations without using the mean field approximation are presented. The experimental evidence of multiconical emission is also given. Finally, this study demonstrates experimentally and interpret theoretically the tunability of the angles of the conical and multi-conical emission.
