Abstract

This paper presents the development of a method for quantitatively determining the potential impact that the design of a single generator may have upon the performance of power system under fault conditions. Initially it is illustrated that the impact that a single generator may have on network fault behaviour is limited by the configuration of the existing network to which the new generator is connected.
