The tests are performed for configurations that are representative of medium-voltage distribution lines. Parameters are derived for application in the integration method, which is intended to model insulator performance due to non-standard voltage waveforms. The obtained parameters are used in computer simulations that show the influence of insulation breakdown on lightning-induced voltages considering different flashover criteria.
