Abstract

This article presents some of the material that was included in a presentation by the author during the Spring, 1978 DECUS Seminar. Although it pertains most directly to PDP-11 computer systems using the RSTS/E Operating System, most of the concepts are applicable to the general problem of evaluating the performance of mini-computer timesharing systems.
