Perancangan Sistem Informasi Pengelolaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL) di SMK GENUS Bukittinggi

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi dari persoalan pengelolaan praktik kerja lapangan di SMK GENUS Bukittinggi masih menggunakan cara manual yaitu siswa harus mendaftar melalui wali kelas terlebih dahulu sehingga membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Serta dalam pengelolaan data, ada beberapa siswa yang mengajukan pindah tempat dan lokasi praktik kerja lapangan dengan alasan tertentu. Kemudian siswa yang telah selesai melaksanakan kegiatan Praktik Kerja Lapangan dan ingin mengumpulkan laporan harus pergi ke sekolah secara langsung untuk mengumpulkannya, serta untuk mendapatkan hasil atau nilai dari siswa yang melaksanakan Praktik Kerja Lapangan guru harus meunggu DU/DI mengeluarkan nilai dan membutuhkan waktu yang lama. Oleh karena itu diperluakan sebauh rancangan sistem informasi pengelolaan Praktik Kerja Lapangan menggunakan PHP/MySQL. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah jenis RnD (Research and Development). Model pengembangan sistem yang digunakan yaitu model waterfall. Berdasarkan hasil uji validitas yang dilakukan, didapatkan hasil 0,79 dengan kesimpulan produk valid. Hasil uji praktikalitas oleh panitia pengelola Praktik Kerja Lapangan (PKL), dengan nilai 97,3 yang dinyatakan produk ini sangat praktis. Hasil uji efektifitas yang dilakukan oleh siswa, guru dan DU/DI dengan nilai 0,89 produk ini sangat efektif. Abstract This research is motivated by the problem of managing field work practices at SMK GENUS Bukittinggi still using the manual method, namely students must register through the homeroom first so it takes a long time. As well as in data management, there are some students who propose to move places and locations for field practice for certain reasons. Then students who have finished carrying out Field Work Practice activities and want to collect reports must go to school directly to collect them, and to get results or grades from students who do Field Work Practices the teacher must wait for DU/DI to issue the required grades and a long time . Therefore, it is necessary to design an information system for the management of Field Work Practices using PHP/MySQL. The type of research used is the type of RnD (Research and Development). The system development model used is the waterfall model. Based on the results of the validity test carried out, the results obtained were 0.79 with a valid product conclusion. The results of the practicality test by the Field Work Practice (PKL) management committee, with a value of 97.3 which stated that this product was very practical. The results of the effectiveness test conducted by students, teachers and DU/DI with a value of 0.89 this product is very effective.
