Abstract
Due to the use of compact structures, whose dimensions are smaller than the dimensions of the quarter-wave segments, but have identical characteristics at the Central frequency of the device. The process of miniaturization of this construction on the basis of compact structures was shown on the example of a standard design of a broadband coupler. The area of the coupler, with a Central frequency of 1.8 GHz has been reduced by 70% in relation to the area of the traditional design.
