Abstract

Heat transfer efficiency improvements have been conducted in various methods. Increasing surface area by installing serrated fin will increase exchanger efficiency. This research uses the numerical method of CFD 2D to compare tube heat transfer without and with a serrated fin on 7 m/s and 9 m/s Velocity. A serrated fin with an outer diameter of 0,03175 m has 0° and 30 segments per period.
