On ensuring the safety of pedestrian traffic

Abstract

The article outlines a brief procedure for the investigation and examination of an accident. Recommendations and regulatory documents for the examination of a car collision with a pedestrian are indicated. The necessity of improving the requirements of the Rules of the Road of the Russian Federation in connection with an increase in the intensity of traffic flows and a decrease in the capacity of streets and roads is substantiated. The recommendations for making additions to the requirements of the traffic rules of the Russian Federation aimed at ensuring the safety of pedestrians at pedestrian crossings are substantiated.
