There are some failure of rivet and hole and hole interference fit in practice. In order to solve this problem, the interference fit model of rivet and hole was established. The spring mass model of interference fit between of rivet and hole was put forward based on the Saint Venant principle. The mechanical force equation of spring-mass model was obtained. Abstract
