The synchronization and interaction of electrical signals and control signals of distributed feeder automation intelligent terminal in RTDS can be realized through interface module, thus a high-security simulation test platform with real-time closed-loop is constructed. The proposed test can simulate the fault morphology and logic processing function of distributed feeder automation system vividly. Abstract

Aiming at the difficulty of effective and quick functional testing and verification of distributed feeder automation in distribution network, this paper designs a distributed feeder automation simulation and test platform for distribution automation system based on RTDS. Firstly, the overall architecture and implementation method of the simulation test platform are given, and the simulation modeling of RTDS tools and the specific implementation method of the actual measurement and control equipment are described in detail.
