Abstract
A bilateral comparison of radiance temperature scale between the National Institute of Metrology Thailand (NIMT) and the Research Center for Calibration, Instrumentation and Metrology — Indonesian Institute of Sciences (Puslit KIM-LIPI) was conducted with support from the National Metrology Institute of Japan (NMIJ). A 0.9 μm radiation thermometer provided by the NMIJ was used as transfer device in this comparison. A radiation thermometer of the same wavelength belonging to the KIM-LIPI was hand carried to the NMIJ and was compared with the transfer device at the NMIJ in the temperature range from 600 °C to 1500 °C, after which the transfer device was hand carried to the NIMT to be calibrated by means of comparison method against NIMT's 0.9 μm radiation thermometer at the same nominal temperature points. The evaluation of the result was conducted in a method compatible with the CCT/WG8 radiation thermometry CMC review protocol.
