Abstract

As the kernel of multilevel Green's function interpolation method (MLGFIM), radial basis function interpolation always has large interpolation errors near boundary because of an ill-conditioning of spectrally accurate methods on uniformly distributed points. To remedy this problem, a new interpolation grid pattern with boundary clustered distribution is proposed to improve the Green's function interpolation. By applying this new grid, the efficiency of MLGFIM is greatly enhanced. Numerical experiments have been given to demonstrate the accuracy and efficiency of the proposed method.
