Abstract

This research aims to test the validity of constructs and reliability of research instruments related to online social interaction in assessment as learning studies. The respondents involved in this study were 200 students at the State University of Malang. The instrument is developed using the Likert scale with five answer options. Data from The Kaiser-Meyer-Olkin (KMO) measurement showed a figure of 0.865, which falls into a good category and a communalities value of all grains over 0.4. Related to the reliability, Cronbach's alpha coefficient value of 0.925 indicates very reliable. The results showed that the instrument could be used for one of the related data looking at social interactions from online learning in which there is an assessment process in learning. There are seven components of instruments related to online social interaction, namely (1) Quality and quantity of interaction, (2) Online learning and social interaction, (3) Group task evaluation, (4) Individual learning, (5) Learning motivation, (6) Sense of humor and feeling, and (7) Self-reflection.
