Abstract
Supported by the environmental archaeology information system of Yangtze Delta region, and based on data of more than 500 sites in the period of 7000-2500 aBP, the authors analyzed the distribution density, lowest residential level and impact buffer in this area. Further more, the potential relationship between sites spatial distribution characteristics and dynamics with water level in this region has also been discussed.
