Abstract
This paper presents a fault detection and reporting technique for galvanically isolated Insulated Gate Bipolar Transistor (IGBT) gate drivers. This technique provides robust transmission of Under Voltage Lock Out (UVLO) and Desaturation (DESAT) events.
