Abstract
An increasing number of equestrian facilities are being built in Poland and around the world. These premises should be designed to meet the needs of both people (the riders) and horses, while retaining high architectural value. Hippic buildings have a diverse use programme depending on their purpose. The profile of an equestrian facility directly affects its architecture in both functional and aesthetic contexts.
