This paper presents a machine vision based traffic sign recognition system for real-time sign detection, segmentation and classification. An algorithm is presented in this paper to recognize traffic sign templates using Optical Character Recognition Technique (OCR). At the end, the region of interest is made visually prominent and is shown on the screen of the automobile. Abstract
