Abstract

A textile circular patch antenna for wireless body area network is proposed. The proposed textile antenna has the radiation directed toward the surface of the human body in the 5.8 GHz industrial, scientific, medical band. In order to consider the practical situations, the numerical experiments were carried out on different body locations such as arm and chest of human.
