The research was designed according to the relational survey model, one of the quantitative research designs. The study group of the study consists of 166 child development undergraduate students selected by random sampling method from universities in Istanbul. The \" Belonging Scale \" and the \" Adult Motivations Scale \" were used as data collection tools in the study. As a result of the research, no significant difference was found between the grade levels of the students and the scores of the Belonging Scale and Adult Motivations Scale. However, a significant difference was found between students' gender variable and scale scores. It is concluded that this differentiation is in favor of female undergraduate students.
